About Me
Creativity has always been a fundamental driving force in my life. Over thirty years ago, a health scare prompted a profound shift in my perspective, leading me to prioritize learning, teaching, and giving back over material pursuits. I believe that the act of creating is a gift to oneself, fostering personal expression and growth.
Throughout my artistic journey, I have drawn inspiration from renowned watercolorists such as Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, Andrew Wyeth, and John Singer Sargent. Their work ignited my passion and guided me along a path of exploration and discovery. Today, I find joy in viewing the world through a unique lens, often blending elements that may not traditionally coexist and embracing a more surreal approach to my art.

I have taught workshops and classes for years, but I slowed down the past couple years, and now I will do workshops a couple times a year in different locations. Keep your eye out because I will be posting them as they are coming together to give you plenty of time to sign up. I am hoping to be teaching my next one in Portugal. The workshops usually go for five half days so you have the afternoon to relax, practice, or go explore wherever we are. I look forward to showing you my technique in watercolor and help you push your painting skills to another level.
